Useful Information
One thing you cannot do without when you are learning Bridge is a good Crib Sheet. The one I recommend is from Leigh Harding's No Fear Bridge Website. Download it here and do also have a look at the nofearbridge.co.uk website to do quizzes, practice hands and activities to test your knowledge.

Chicago score sheet
Get used to always using Duplicate Scoring when you play. Even if you play with just three friends you can still use duplicate style scoring with a Chicago score sheet.
Here's how: one person stays in the same seat. Four deals (or boards) are played and then three players rotate clockwise. That way you can change partners during your session (or just stay put if you prefer).
You can download a score sheet at www.printablepaper.net

Double or Overcall?
NEW! For my beginners classes I have produced some quick reference guides to help with your bidding decisions. Here is the first one which tackles the questions you have on when to overcall, how high to overcall and should you think of double instead. Download my crib sheet Double or Overcall here. ![]()
